The Power of Punchlines
With Flonde, like your eyes were always so wide open to that opportunity. I remember one scene where it was like, I think Gil got knocked back in a chair and by the time he hit the ground, Dominic connected it to the next second beat. It's just an easy way to like not have that kind of awkward silence. Which is why Moni Python stopped,. They were just like, we don't like punchlines. Let's just do that organic connection. Punchlines are hard. So if you can just like walk into that scene and make it another scene, the audience doesn't notice that it ended badly. Yeah. I love that.
