The Paradiso and the Sun
The Paradiso is the vision of God at the end. Anyone who's experiment with psychedelics will recognize some of the imagery perhaps. The thing that really struck me about the Paradiso was this ascension through the seven planets. Now this is a really old Gnostic idea and in the 1300s I mean would this have been common to still work with this cosmology or practice?
