Exercise Helps Reduce Stress

Exercise has been shown to help alleviate stress reduce symptoms of anxiety and depression. It also elevates mood and improves memory and cognition. The brain accounts for around two % of o total body weight, it consumes 20% of all the energy we put into our body. Regular exercise over the ge term has the additional benefit of reducing the brain shrinking that normally occurs with age. But if you are lurgic to exercise or just don't consider yourself sporty? That's ok, because the amount of exertion required to benefit is termed moderate.
