The Transparency of Water

The transparency part is that knowing everything about the structure of water and the behavior at a molecular level, we could actually infer properties at the macro level. We can describe in the brain what parts of your brain get activated when you get wet but talking about how you account for the feeling of wetness by H2O isn't clear. Under the way we describe it, it's non-spatial temporal. And so that's the problem. Tell me if this makes sense.
