The Importance of Having a Mind That Works Differently

I typically don't suggest that people just close their autism until the point in which they absolutely have to. If you can make it through the interview process without accommodations, however challenging it might be, I do try to encourage doing that because we're in a place right now in our society where people just instantly goes to us once they find out about our autism. So I say with autism, like definitely frame it with all of the positive things that your autism brings to the table, but wait as long as you can.
