Scout Versus Soldier Mindset

The author of Thinking Fast and Slow, Daniel Kahneman has said as much as he understands in depth these issues, he still is subject to biases. So definitely a sort of a personal approach and maybe even a values clarification kind of situation to help a person uncover what some of their biases would be a good approach. But all scouts in the army, for instance, are soldiers first. And once they're done being in a scout unit, they go back to a soldier unit. so it's not a bi-modal distribution of a scout mindset versus a soldier mindset.
