Is It More Difficult to Hold on to Evangelical?
I think the Bible requires them, right? Right, right. And helping people to kind of make those... That is the work of theology there to make that connection. I don't know any thoughtful faithful evangelicals who aren't a little bit fraught over the use of the term. It's hard to watch. But it's really heartbreaking to see people use the term in ways that have nothing to do with the Jesus who I know.
