Slow as Smooth, Smooth as Fast

You can use this technique even if you're not extreme exercise or fitness enthusiast. Take a deep breath, in through the nose, out through the mouth and s take each thing very slow, very smooth. During transition from swim to bike i'd be having that montra go through my head - slow as smooth, smooth as fast. It's kind of a logarithmic thing where if you spend one minute in deep relaxation and recovery, it's equal to an hour of physical activity. And so you end up tapping into more energy as you perform whatever event it is.
