The Importance of Loudness in Worship
In recent years, the model has changed where the amplification of the sound from the platform is so overwhelming. Not only can you not hear yourself or the people around you sing, but like your internal organs are being readjusted by the bass,. It's just that loud. And I worry that's going on in our movies as well; there's this need to just overwhelm people visually because subtlety is not exactly a hallmark of millennials or Gen Z.
