Is There a Convergence Between Race and Police Power?

Policing is understood solely through the lens of race. If races had never been invented, policing certainly would have been invented. The slavery was a system of exploitation that was integral to the development of early capitalism. And that's how we can then bring them back together. But the whole that whole picture is complicated by the sheer the sheer horror of the kind of racist policing that now take place in the United States.
