Occupy Wall Street - An Extinction Rebellion
Nelson Mandela's dignity was powerful in South Africa for his followers, but it was most powerful in the international community. The campaign to free Nelson Mandela made people outside of South Africa feel the shame. Occupy Wall Street shows that that three-way relationship is quite hard to sustain as the movement becomes broader and its goals become wider. Gandhi and Martin Luther King and Nelson Mandela wanted to overturn an oppressive political order and replace it with emancipated emancipation.
