The Great Narrative Escape
Invisibilia
Slow TV
slow t v was produced by norway's public broadcaster, which is how they could run hour after hour after hour of programming without any commercial breaks. More than a million people tuned in to the experiment - that's like a fifth of Norwegians' entire population. They broadcast this boat ride live for five and a half days straight, in real time. There were 11 cameras on the boat, and they sometimes switched between camera shots. The ship route travels up the yords, which are these really beautiful deep water inlets with like mountains and cliffs on either side of you.
