What Is the Advantage That Microsoft Has?

Google announced that they would like to become the best search engine by a mile. What do you think would keep Google from basically copying the user experience from being's AI integration into their own search engine? How far behind is Microsoft on that effort? I haven't had anybody give me Like a good estimate on that at this point and there's so much we don't know.
