The Flood in Mesopotamia Around 5000 Years Ago

There is good evidence to think there was a pretty big flood in Mesopotamia around 5000 years ago. This was a big catastrophe. It left a big dent on like the cultural memory of the people who lived around here. There may well have been people who survived by being on a boat. Good ball of Ben that got warned them and that's why they were on the boat. I don't know either way. We know that there are lots of other stories, lots of different cultures that existed in the Near East at that time. They all have their own flood myths, which it looks like probably date back to this actual flood that happened.
