The Different Types of Hip Pain

About 30 to 40% of men have FAI morphology, but the vast majority will go through their whole lives having no problems with their hips. The typical pain that someone would get from degenerative joint disease is a combination of both pain and stiffness. Osteoarthritic hip pain is primarily in the groin with referred pain in the thigh knee, outside of the shin, and sometimes the buttock.
