The Will to Obedience

Many people look for the word of the Lord that way. If it comes to me, if it's forced upon me, I will receive it. But I don't have the courage to get up into pursuit. What would he say if I told him yes before he spoke? There's an interesting verse in John 7. Anyone who is willing to do his will will know whether the teaching is from God or not.
