I was gaining weight on the sort of traditional low fat 10% whole food plant based diet. I went to a lot of so-called experts in the area and they're like, well, you're doing it wrong. And that was the thing that made the most sense to me is, okay, I've been already sort of doing all of the right things from a plant based standpoint. Let me try this low carb thing. It made a ton of sense as far as managing blood sugars.
