Sealing the Rock at the Lion's Den
Throughout history there have been very, very special rings called signet rings. These rings were usually only owned by powerful, important people like pharaohs or kings. Hot wax would be poured onto the item and the king would press the top of the ring into the wax. This meant a lot because the ring was like a signature, proving this was an official item from the king. Today we still use special seals or our signatures on very important letters or documents to show that it was really us who said yes or gave authority for this document to be true.
