A friend of mine just got diagnosed with melanoma. She noticed it from her bra. What are some of the things we should look for in terms of checking out our skin during the summer months and winter months? Yeah. The ABCDEs, A, asymmetry. B stands for border, where you don't have a smooth border, but jagged edges. C stands for color. If there's anything black, blue, white, or some really dark brown, you want to get that checked out. D is diameter. Anything over 6 millimeters, which is the size of a pencil tippy racer, is concerning.
