The Resurrection of Jesus

Joseph of Ermathea asked Pilate that he might take away the body of Jesus. Nicodemus also, who at first come to him by night, came bringing a mixture of myrrh and aloes about a hundred pounds weight. He bound it in linen cloths with the spices as is the burial custom of the Jews. Mary Magdalene stood weeping outside the tomb but when she stooped to look into the tomb saw two angels in white sitting there. She said to them, Because they have taken away my Lord and I do not know where they have laid him. And again, another scripture says, They shall look on him whom they have pierced.
