Toilets - The First Flush Toilet
Archaeological excavations in Rome have revealed ancient toilets, benches with holes in them. You still can see today these rows of toilets that are pretty much toilet houses. Ancient civilizations started to build a system of open drains with flowing water for waste carrying it away from people's homes. The first flush toilet as we know it was invented by somebody named Harrington.
