The Man in the High Castle
Philip K Dick through his life 50s 60s 70s and early 80s has an increasing access to all of these ideas but in a very abortive form. In his day that mix of openness and limited access to some very unusual ideas I think drove PKD insane along with drug use and a very disordered life. We're gonna come more to the idea of order and disorder perhaps as a running theme through this episode of the science fiction podcast the man in the high castle is a mid-point really.
