The sermons of initiation actually correspond exactly to those three stages we just said the first one your old way of life dies that's baptism you've been baptized in christ been baptized into his death. The second stage the giving over the identity where this is where in a rite of passage you would have had the tools of your trade given to you or something and then the last one is to receive holy communion. Then they're not men you're not a man yeah right and that it was clear like we're telling them like no no no you're not like you don't get to do all the things that men do but this is a big thing, he says.
