i think cynicism is people who are afraid to be optimistic because they think it's not going to work out. They don't want to have hope and get the rug pulled out from under them. I remember someone told me once, i, you know, if something good is going to happen, why not assume it's going to happen? Why not ssume? Because no matter what, you're going to be sad,.
