The Dominions of Cirus and Cyrus's Decree
The dominion of cirus is a fulfilment of the prophecy of isaiah. In verse one, we see that the lord stirred up cyruss spirit. We might see this as similar to the way the lord stirs up the valley of dry bones in ezekiel chapter 37. There's a national resurrection occurring here. Almost a century later, the lord instigates the entire process of return and rebuilding. This matter is debated as it has some bearing upon the dating of the beginning of daniel's 70 weeks.
