The Importance of Consequentialism
Consequentialism is a belief that the rightness of a decision is based entirely on its consequences. And so if it has good consequences, it a good decision. If it has bad consequences, it's a bad decision. There are times when those kinds of white lies are a perfectly acceptable there are times violence is acceptable based on the consequences. But i don't think anyone would begrudge you that. I'm not disputing any of that. The problem is, ad he seemed to acknowledge some of this.
