Is Green Nuclear Energy a Good Idea?

The european commission has proposed labelling some nuclear ower, as well as gas, as green. Critics of the move have claimed that labelling nuclear and gas power as green is akin to describing an ostrich who pecks you in the face with a sharpened beak as friendly. So is buth?
