The White Sea Horse
White sea horses used to be a common sight in Sydney Harbour and Port Stephens. In recent years their numbers have decreased dramatically because of humans disturbing their environments. To try and save the endangered white sea horse, some scientists have bred up white sea horses in big tanks. The divers released the babies into sea horse hotels. They're actually metal cage-like structures designed to give the baby sea horses a place to live while they grow into adults.
