The Differences Between Converbs and Omodic Verbs

Converbs are almost always, um, same subject interpretation from the matrix clause. They have to be attached somehow to a matrix clause and relate to that matrix clause in some way. In Africa you get complicated situations where you have converbs that in fact do mark for person. But they still can't be used alone. We'll have to do a whole episode on converbs.
