Yahweh's Self-Disclosure Statement

Exodus 34 is the most quoted part of the Bible by the Bible. This is Yahweh's self-disclosure statement to the world. When God describes himself, he starts with his name and then his character. The fact that he begins with compassionate and gracious means that these are dominant.
