We Didn't Write the Bible
i didn't know how to play the guitar at all. i would rewrite modern pop songs to tell old testament stories. Despite my poor singing voice ad an even worse guitar, i had to learn a few more chords each time i found a new song. It was amazing to watch these teen agers just come to love the old and not just because of gofe's songs, but because they started seeing relevance and application in their lives. I still look back at that as one of my favorite years of teaching seminary.
