Is This Just About Economic Issues or Something Like That?
American mobility rates have been declining steadily since 19 forty eight, through both booms and busts. When a person has wanted to move, but is in the same place the next year, their outlook darkens. They tend to think that america maybe isn't living up to its promise. If they do move, if the people who want to move and actually make the move, we find that they are more optimistic. It's not about economics, it's not even about imigration, but that we get this correlation.
