The Effect of Splitting Your Task Into Two

The way it works is you'll start working on a problem and then at some point let it go like you split your task into two days instead of just working all at once. The idea with spreading activation is that you allow time for this to happen subconsciously. And now this work better if you do not work on the problem which is a bit ironic. So when you stop doing the task the subconscious kind of helps the brain regenerate so it becomes ready. It relaxes, regenerate and are then again ready to tackle the problem.
