The Importance of Looking and Staring

In verse 28, Jesus says anyone who looks at a woman lustfully is committing murder in their heart. He's not just talking about the instance, he's talking about an ongoing sustained look. In English, we have a perfect word for an ongoing sustained awkward look and that's the word stare. So if you write in your Bible, I would just encourage you to write that in there.
