I think there's something, I mean, so for example, if you say it's reason or consciousness, what else is it? One could be race, ethnicity, other host of other things. But being able to exercise one of the capacities and saying that alone determines life, I think is an arbitrary position. It ends up being a position that happens to be like determined by power or consensus.
