Is It Harder for a Christian to Stand on Social Justice?

Has it become harder for someone who is a religious conservative to be a political liberal or a political modernist? I think that that's true in our country to day, because we's become so polarized. The concerned christian will look to the bible and base on ther in the bible. For the progressive christian, what they go to first is the vallued as social justice. And only after that do you go to the bible in order to understand where you're going.
