How Did Ole Kirk Buy a Molding Machine?
Middle-class parents love buying wooden toys for children. Ole Kirk wanted to buy a molding machine and everyone was like, you know, that's a silly investment. So it was actually in 1946 that he purchased one basically on his own. They believe it was one of the first plastic and injection molding machines in all of Denmark.
