The Gift of Being Yours
When she was adopted into my family out of abject poverty, at that moment, she became a comber. It's been years and she's still learning how to live up to what is already true of her. Our being is grounded in god's love. Love is our identity and calling. Neither knowing god nor knowing self can progress very far unless it begins with the knowledge of how deeply we are loved by god. In order for our knowing of god's love to be truly transformational, it must become the basis for our identity.
