How to Rate Yourself in Chess
20 years ago I did that right every week there was a tournament it was one classical game and you'd go like an hour early and hang out with people and play blitz. My daughter desperately wants a USCF over-the-board rating but we just got to wait until she's older. If you're not that kind of person you can probably expect you'll play several hundred points below your rating and make ridiculous mistakes that you'll hate yourself about.
