The sound of the run out groove is wildly different from record to record, especially with these cheap records because they're already pretty hammered. So I looked around in the toolkit and thought, oh well so if I got pulled out some sandpaper, gave it a good sanding down that was pretty satisfying. You can make little rhythms really easily with this technique. It's really pretty satisfying. And even if you like the record, you're only manipulating the run out grooves so you can still play the record as is.
