There's compelling data that ACEs and ARBs on day of surgery Make blood pressure cause intraoperative hypotension, which is then potentially linked with MI adverse cardiac events renal injury like you can the injury I Think the data is Good enough to hold it for a day But then have a very proactive strategy for reintroducing it. Newer drugs coming out like what the insulin causes hypoglycemia You know what we want to use that in the hospital when people are NPO and maybe already feeling nauseous and stuff so I just think that those are probably gonna start to be used in the hospital in the near future.
