The Importance of a Christian Community

Dietrich Bonhoeffer was a Christian pastor in Germany during World War II. He says the sooner this shock of disillusionment comes to an individual and to a community, the better for both. Every human wish dream that is injected into the Christian community must be banished if genuine community is to survive. Listen church, you will be let down. You will be disappointed. But even on those occasions rather than obstacles for your growth they become opportunities for your growth.
