The game has a wealth of cool monsters. There's so many things that they do and how abilities combine. They're the chickens or hens that are strong opponents until you get them down the low hit points. Then they turn into a weak monster, a chicken that just runs away. In the DS version, the chickens only worth one experience point. But if you can kill the bulked up version before it demotes, it's worth 400 experience points.
