Christine and Mary Ann's Day in the Sandhills

The weather turned out to be surprisingly bad the next day, January 11th. The plan was to go to the beach the following day and the two girls would keep a close eye on the young ones. Christine did not get the response she was hoping for or expecting. Her grandmother pleaded with her not to go. It was a far walk from Cronella Beach to the Dunes. And she'd have all the children to worry about.
