The Fed has been trying to destruct demand, even though a lot of our challenges are supply constraints. I think they're in their crazy, you know, insanity. They're thinking that if they do this more quickly, then maybe they can move back to that position more quickly and get back to business as usual. But the fact that nobody has stepped up or taken responsibility for what's going on is baffling. The whole thing is just such a perfect example of why central planning doesn't work,. As well as why magic money tree, MMT doesn't work either.
