Don't Be Afraid of Being Alone
Don't be picky at the very beginning so you don't meet anyone, but quit early if you think there's not chemistry. Sometimes people need a minute to son up and bring their authentic selves to the table. If we are really deeply afraid of being alone, which is kind of a hall mark of serial monogamists, we are much more likely to succumb to the progression bias. E, something that feels soothing in the short term can ultimately turn into a nagging fear and anxiety and regret that we have let things come so far and now have to find a way out.
