I grew up in Idaho, my wife's from Montana. I spent a lot of time in rural areas and was very familiar with how common these beliefs were being embraced. By 2015, 2016, these so-called constitutionalist beliefs that are endemic to the Patriot movement had really become very commonplace out in rural areas. What is it about the rural areas that there's a preponderance of beliefs? Well, I'm not gonna say everybody that lives in a rural area is a white nationalist, but why in the rural areas? well, I think to some extent Fox News plays everywhere out in these rural areas.
