Preeti Malani: I'm joined today by Professor Jacob Moron Gilaad. He is a professor at Ben Gurion University and the Director of Clinical Microbiology at Hadassa Medical Center, Jerusalem, Israel. Since 2021, he has also been the Program Director for ECMAID. The 33rd ECMAID meeting was recently held in Copenhagen, Denmark. It's one of the world's premier clinical microbiology and infectious disease congresses.
