I'm kind of torn about this I don't have a simple answer to this but, you know, I really love my iPhone. Adam Smith writes about this really beautifully strangely enough in 1759 which is shocking. And he gives the example of a pocket watch that loses two minutes a day. He says so you pay a premium 50 say pounds to get a watch that that's more accurate he said but it doesn't gauge your meetings on time. Any better than the first one. Which is I think is a very deep insight into the human experience and part of the reason I love my phone is that it can be done at all. There’s something I find inspiring about it.
