Tokugawa and the Toku Gaa Dynasty

Toku gaa nariaki and his biological son, yoshi nobu, were placed under house arrest. These tokugawa insiders also arranged the appointment as tiro, or senior elder, of the shoguns advisory council for a young boy. Nariaki actually die in confinement. So too was yama uchi too, shige, who was invited to edo and confined under a very strict house arrest. There wasn't much they could do other than grumble, at least for now. Next week we'll see the chess board upturned once again, because sakamoto is not going to languish in this curity forever.
